      I wonder if the people making the negative comment had ever even been to Oaxaca? Perhaps it stems from the fact that Oaxaca has a very large indigenous population and thus the culture there is a bit ‘different’ than other places they might have been. Real traveling is supposed to be an adventure. One needs accommodate themselves to the differences in order to experience that which is new and exciting. I have been to Oaxaca several times and always found it to be one of those “excitingly different” places.
